Berhampur, May 22 (LocalWire): Saraswati Sishu Vidyamandiras here have achieved 100 percent results in the High School Certificate (HSC) examinations, which were published on Tuesday.
Saraswati Sishu Mandira, Nilaknataha Nagara kept the tradition of scoring 100 percent result since the last 27 years followed by the branches at Ramahari Nagara for 17 years, Goshaninuagon for 15 years and Gajapati Nagara for 11 years.
While 56 students of Nilakantha Nagara school got A1 (over 90% marks), 125 students got A2 (80-89% marks), 63 students achieved B1 (70-79 % marks) and 25 students B2 (60-69%) marks.
‘In Ganjam district, total 170 students achieved AI grade and out of them 52 students are from our school,’ said the principal of Nailakantha Nagara branch, S Mohan Rao.
Gayatri Padhy of the school scored 94.83 marks (569 out of 600 marks) in the examination, he said. ‘Several of our students might have secured the top 100 list in the state,’ he claimed. A total 2834 students of Nilakantha Nagara branch appeared for the HSC examination this year.
The school was established in 1979. The first batch of the students had appeared matric examination in 1992. Since then, the school has been achieving 100 % results, he said.
Similarly, Saraswati Sishu Vidyamandir, Ramahari Nagar in the city has also achieved cent percent results for the last 17 years. As many as 167 students appeared the examination this year. Out of them, five students got A1, 57 secured A2, 35 got B1 and 30 B2 and others C and D grade.
Saraswati Sishu Vidyamandir at Gajapati Nagar and Goshaninuagaon also achieved 100% results this year with all 121 and 153 students passing the examinations. In Gajapati Nagara and Goshani Nuagaon, three and six students have secured A1 results.
‘Taking extra care of the students, particularly after the test examination was over, dedication of the teaching staff are some of the reasons for the success of the school,’ said Rao.
The successful students also contributed their success to the sincerity of their teachers. ‘I secured 94.83 percent marks in the examination due to the sincere efforts and guidance of the teachers and blessings of my parents,’ said Padhy. She wants to become a doctor in the future.
