Kendrapara, Dec 21 (LocalWire): Simultaneous raids were conducted at four places related to Ranjan Kumar Nayak, Jamapada Girls’ High School teacher, on charges of amassing disproportionate assets, said a vigilance official on Friday.
Vigilance sleuths conducted raids at his house at Kalapada, in-law’s house at Bahakandia, his chamber in school and brother-in-law’s house at Jamapada.
A car, two motor cycles, gold ornament around 500 gm and five trucks were seized during the raid.
Property worth over 1.5 crore has been seized during the raid, said vigilance DSP Surendra Nath Raiguru.
However, Nayak said, “I have no disproportionate assets, all are accounted property”.
