Bargarh, March 26 (LocalWire): Senior BJP leader Subash Chauhan quit from primary membership of the party here on Tuesday, citing displeasure over ticket allocation.
Chouhan had on Saturday declined an offer of the party’s state vice-president post.
In a social media post on Sunday, Chauhan expressed unhappiness over his ticket denial from Bargarh parliamentary set, despite bagging “highest number of votes” among BJP candidates in 2014 polls.
He, though, clarified that he would continue to work for Bargarh.
BJP has nominated Suresh Pujari from Bargarh Lok Sabha seat this time.
