Baripada, Oct 28 (LocalWire): The Similipal National Park will reopen for tourists from November 1, authorities said today.
The park has been closed since mid-March in the wake of the pandemic.
Deputy Director of the park, Jagyandutta Pati, informed that two gates will open – the Pithabata gate and the Kaliani gate, from 6 am – 9 pm.
Provisions have been made for the tourists to visit Joranda and Barehipani waterfalls, and Chahala in the park.
Accomodation facilities and night stay will be provided at Gudgudia, Kumari, Ramtirtha, Barehipani or Jamuani, to be booked online through the Odisha tourism website.
It is mandatory for all tourists to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
