Bhubaneswar, Oct 10 (LocalWire): In its efforts to clear the additional rush of passengers during the festive and winter season, the Ministry of Railways is operating special trains to different destinations across the country.
The East Coast Railway (ECoR) is also running a direct special train between Visakhapatnam and Subedarganj (Allahabad) via Vizianagaram-Srikakulam-Bhubaneswar.
As per ECoR officials, 82507/82508 Visakhapatnam-Subedarganj-Visakhapatnam Suvidha Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 23:50hours every Tuesday between 8 October and 19 November and from Subedarganj at 10:10 hours every Thursday between 10 October and 21 November.
Subedarganj is 15 minutes away from Allahabad and is the next station.
The special train will halt at at Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj, Bhadrak, Balasore, Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Gomoh, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Mirzapur and Allahabad between Visakhapatnam and Allahabad in both directions.
Depending on the patronisation of this special train, decision will be taken regarding further extension of the services, sources said.
