Bhubaneswar, July 28 (LocalWire): The state government has now asked the Collectors in the state to ensure that the home isolation cases in the state are monitored on a daily basis to better manage Coronavirus cases.
The Office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has now asked all the Collectors to entrust the work of daily data collection to the District Emergency Officer who would apprise the SRC office daily.
“You are hereby instructed to make necessary arrangements to monitor those at the district level on daily Basis,” the letter from the SRC to Collectors read.
“Persons staying in home isolation in both rural and urban areas are to be religiously monitored by the Panchayat Nodal Officer/Ward Nodal Officer to ensure that they follow the prescribed protocols,” the communication to Collectors said.
It also added, “Elaborate arrangements are to be made for monitoring the health of such persons and provide them with required medical assistance at the earliest possible time.”
