Bhubaneswar, Mar 22 (Local Wire): In the light of proposed lock down in the state, the Odisha government on Sunday announced a new helpline where the aggrieved traders can register their woes with the state government.
“The helpline named ‘SANJOG Help-line’ with the Toll Free number (155335) will be used for the traders for registering and addressing all grievances by traders, shopkeepers, wholesalers who face any problem relating to smooth supply and movement of Permitted Goods traffic.
This will operate from morning to night in two shifts,” said an order from the state government.
The government also said that wholesale markets should function 24X7 on rotation basis with time slotting for different wholesalers to operate to avoid over-crowding in the market.
On the other side, all the Sports Hostels under the Administrative Control of the Sports and Youth Services Department have been closed from 23rd March to 5th May.
The inmates will be given food expenses and allowances for this period and will be paid travelling expenses for safe return to their home.
