Bhubaneswar, July 28 (LocalWire): A state-of-the-art Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Centre has been inaugurated at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences by Naba Kishore Das, state minister of health and family welfare, on Saturday.
The centre has all types of ultra-modern physiotherapy and occupational therapy equipment.
The minister also inaugurated the year-long mega health camp by KIMS for four districts – Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh and Ganjam.
Inaugurating the programme, Das said, the initiative taken by KIMS to provide health services in remote areas of these four districts are praiseworthy.
He thanked Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT & KIMS for the initiative.
The mega health camp where free medicine will be distributed will be held in every block headquarter of these four districts on the first Sunday of every month.
The programme will be held in 20 blocks of these districts in the first phase.
Doctors, specialists and para-medical staff from KIMS will join the camp and provide health services.
