Bhubaneswar, June 16 (Local Wire): The state government today said that it has seen a total of 108 new cases of Coronavirus in the latest testing of samples.
According to the State Health Department, out of the 108 new cases detected from across the state, 95 are said to be from quarantine centres while 13 are said to be from the local population.
The government claimed that with the addition of 108 new cases in the state the total cases in the state reached 4163.
The latest data claimed that the state has a total of 1295 active cases while it has 2854 cases of recoveries.
The new cases are reported from 15 districts of the state. It is also reported that 16 more fire personnel who returned from West Bengal from their official duty tested positive for the disease.
In the latest estimates, Malkangiri was found to be worst hit with the maximum of 21 cases.
