Bhubaneswar, June 19 (LocalWire): The state government today said that it has detected a total of 165 new cases of Coronavirus.
According to the State Health Department, out of the 165 new cases detected, 140 of them are said to be under quarantine while 25 are local contacts.
The maximum new cases were reported by Ganjam district which reported 41 cases alone.
It was followed by Gajapati district which saw 28 cases.
The government claims that the new cases were reported from 17 different districts.
A total of 11 new cases of fire personnel who returned from Amphan duty in West Bengal also tested positive for the viral disease.
The latest statistics claimed that with the addition of 165 new cases the total cases in the state touched 4677.
The government said that the state has now a total of 1519 active cases while it has a total of 3144 recovered cases too.
It also claims to have conducted a total of 216607 tests till now.
