Bhubaneswar, June 18 (LocalWire): The state government today said that there has been a rise of 174 new cases of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours in their latest round of sample testing.
The State Health and Family Welfare Department said that out of the 174 new cases detected, 146 of them are said to be in quarantine and 28 cases were reported from the local population.
The highest number of new cases were reported from Ganjam district which alone reported 56 new cases of the disease.
The government claims to have found the new cases from 18 districts across the state.
With the addition of 174 new cases, the total reported Coronavirus cases in the state touched 4512 while the state is said to have a total of 1451 active cases as of now. It also has seen 3047 recoveries.
The government claims to have done a total of 212224 sample testing till now.
