Bhubaneswar, April 7 (Local Wire): The state government on Tuesday said that it has tested more than 2000 samples from suspected patients of COVID 19 and the total confirmed positive cases in the state stood at 42.
In a statement, the state health department said, “Up to 12 noon Tuesday, 2210 samples have been tested.
Number of positive cases stand at 42. Two persons have already been cured and discharged from Hospital,”
The state meanwhile lost one life to COVID 19 as a 72-year-old person died Tuesday after contracting the disease.
Out of 42 positive cases, 34 from Bhubaneswar, 3 from Bhadrak and one each from Cuttack, Puri, Kalahandi, Jajpur and Kendrapara. 86 persons are under Hospital Isolation today in different hospitals.
