Bhubaneswar, August 23 (LocalWire): As part of its ‘5 Ts’ charter of governance, the state government has set 15 August 2020 timeframe to deliver public services either online or by common service centres.
The 5Ts charter of governance includes technology, transparency, teamwork, transformation and time-laid.
‘The Chief Minister has announced ‘Mo Sarkar’ emphasizing on bringing governance at people’s doorsteps,’ stated Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy in an official communication to additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries and secretaries.
The merger of directorates with heads of departments needs to be carried out by 30 October, he said, adding that a clear-cut policy should be in place by January 2020 for the promotion of employees on transformative performance.
All departments are to fine-tune their processes and procedures to affect 20% weightage for performance in achievement of 5 Ts in the annual appraisal of officials.
It’s pertinent to note here that the state has recently adopted a policy decision to integrate various directorates with their respective administrative departments to function as composite departments in order to streamline decision-making and governance.
