Bhubaneswar, June 25 (LocalWire): The state government today said that it has seen a rise of 210 new cases of Coronavirus in the latest round of sample testing.
According to the State Information and Public Relations Department out of the 210 new cases detected, 174 of them are from quarantine centres and 36 are from the local population.
The highest cases were reported from Ganjam which saw 58 cases from the district alone in the last 24 hours.
Khurda district also reported the second highest of 47 cases.
On the other hand 6 NDRF personnel who returned from Amphan duty from West Bengal also tested positive for the disease.
According to the latest update, with the addition of 210 new cases the total reported cases in the state touched 5962.
The state has now a total of 1815 active cases and a total of 4123 cases of recoveries.
The government on the other hand has been able to do a total of 239815 tests till now.
