Bhubaneswar, November 4 (LocalWire): The Odisha Shramajeebee Manch (OSM) and Mahila Shramajeebee Manch, Odisha (MSMO) will be launching a mega one-month long campaign on Tuesday to create awareness about education and health rights in Odisha.
The joint initiative aims to cover 12 lakh households across 66 blocks in 17 districts of the state.
The campaign Shiksha Swasthya Ama Adhikar, Jabab Dia Mo Sarkar aims to raise awareness among masses about their rights and entitlements for healthcare and education in Odisha.
As part of the programme, the organisations will be conducting meetings, performing street play and storytelling, organising cycle and bike rally, and engagement with PRI Members, MLAs, and MPs to highlight the gaps in the implementation of Right to Education Act, closure of schools and failing state of healthcare.
The campaign will also focus on the state government’s Mo Sarkaar initiative, which is mandated to provide service with dignity to people using the T5 approach.
The organisers expect nearly 10,000 people to join the month-long campaign from different sangathans, civil society organizations, including the PRI members.
