Berhampur, Oct 25 (LocalWire): Khallikote University has declared the results of the sixth-semester examination (final examination) of all the streams of the Plus III students.
Around 93.41 percent students have passed in all streams.
While as many as 1639 students of its four constituent colleges had appeared in the final semester examination in Arts, Science and Commerce streams, 1531 of them have successfully passed the examination, university sources said here on Saturday.
The constituent colleges of the university are SBR Women’s College, Binayak Acharya College, Khallikote Autonomous College here, Gopalpur College, Gopalpur and Chhatrapur Science College, Chhatrapur.
While Khallikote Autonomous College conducted its own examination, KU however conducted the examination of other four colleges, sources said.
While 93.10 percent students passed in Arts stream, 92.2 percent students passed in Science stream. Similarly, 95.9 percent students have passed in Commerce stream, sources added.
All the students in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Zoology, Education, Philosophy, Psychology, Sanskrit and Odia in SCB Women’s College passed; all the students of Botany, English and History of Binayak Acharya College, Zoology and English of Gopalpur College and Physics and English of Chhatrapur College have been passed in the semester examination.
Vice-Chancellor of the university A K Mishra declared the results of the examination.
He expressed happiness over the timely publication of the results despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The government has given a deadline for declaration of the result before October 31. But we have published the result before the deadline,” he said.
The final semester examination of the Plus III students was held on September 22 and continued till September 29 through offline mode with following the COVID-19 protocols, said controller of examinations of the university Pabitra Mohan Nanda.
