Balasore, Dec 15 (LocalWire): The police on Sunday sealed two hotels located near Talseri beach in Balasore district and arrested its managers after conducting raids following media reports of alleged flesh trade racket.
Those arrested are Saddam Seikh, manager of hotel Sagar Saikat and a native of Birbhum district in West Bengal and Nirapada Rout, the manager of hotel Sagar Kanya and a resident of Kamarda of Bhograi block, subdivisional police officer Ankita Kumbhar told LocalWire.
There were reports in the media alleging that the lodges and guest houses along the prominent beaches of Talseri and Udaipur in Bhograi block were running immoral activities engaging girls from neighbouring West Bengal.
However, during raids the police didn’t find any objectionable materials from the lodges.
Bhograi in the northern of the state has a vast coastline dotted with beautiful beaches.
Tourists across the country mainly from neighbouring West Bengal lodge in these tourist places to visit the famous Shaivite temples of Chandaneswar and Bhusundeswar.
