Berhampur, November 7 (LocalWire): The Ganjam district administration on Wednesday identified three more primary school teachers in Dharakote block who had tampered with their high school certificate and mark-sheets to secure the job.
Taking quick action on the matter, district collector Vijay Amruta Kulange asked the Dharakote block development officer (BDO) to file an FIR against the three teachers.
The accused include two junior teachers and an assistant teacher from different primary schools in Dharakote block and they had fudged their mark-sheets to show 60% marks to show their eligibility for the job.
The fraud was noticed during the verification process of their original mark-sheets, the district education officer Ganjam Sanatan Panda said.
Fearing action against them, two of the teachers have tendered their resignation on Tuesday.
“We have received the resignation letters from two of these teachers through the post,” the DEO stated.
“Despite their resignation, we have asked the Dharakote block development officer (BDO) to register an FIR against them, the DEO said.
The district administration had earlier identified four primary school teachers from the same block who had fudged their education certificates.
