Bhubaneswar, Jan 4 (Local Wire): Three ongoing projects of the state have been nominated for this year’s SKOCH Order-of Merit.
The projects which have received nomination are — 1: Early Warning Dissemination System: Last Mile Connectivity, 2: Odisha Disaster Recovery Project 3: Multipurpose Cyclone Shelter & Flood Shelter.
Congratulating the nominees, the organisers in a letter to Bishunupada Sethi, managing director and commissioner cum secretary of the Disaster Management, said that the SKOCH Order-of-Merit having been rated and qualified on three parameters, namely, early bird, jury evaluation and popular vote.
The formal selection, announcement andconferment will be made during the 56th SKOCH Summit to be held on 25th February with the theme of ‘Inclusion Manifesto’, at Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi .
The selection will be done on basis of expert delegate votes collected during exhibition, demonstration and interaction with the delegates.
This will account for 15% weightage on the overall score to win the coveted SKOCH Award 2019, the press statement said.
