Bhubaneswar, Dec 27 (LocalWire): The 13th Toshali National Crafts Mela-2018 will commence from December 28 here at Janata Maidan, said a official on Thursday.
The mela is being organised by handlooms, textiles and handicrafts department in association with the development commissioner (handlooms) of the ministry of textiles.
The vision of the mela is to offer an open platform to artists, artisans, weavers and sculptors from all over the country to exhibit their traditional and contemporary handicraft and handloom products, said Subha Sharma, commissioner-cum-secretary, handlooms, textiles and handicrafts department.
The mela will accommodate 330 handicraft and handloom stalls.
A food court having 30 food stalls will offer delicious multi-cuisine food to visitors along with traditional Odia cuisine.
The mela will remain open every day from 2 pm to 9.30 pm and will conclude on January 13.
