Bhubaneswar, April 11 (Local Wire): The state government on Saturday said that the it has found two new cases of COVID 19 on Friday while the total cases jumped upto 50 in the state.
The department said that it has tested a total of 298 samples on Friday out of which 296 samples tested negative but two samples were found to have the COVID 19 virus.
With the two new cases the total COVID 19 cases in the state have touched 50 while the total samples tested till now stood at 3547.
Out of these, 3497 have tested negative for the global pandemic.
The State Health Department also said that 10 patients including five from Bhubaneswar have also recovered.
The department in a statement said, “Very happy to share that another 10 COVID patients have recovered and tested negative for COVID-19.
Five are of Bhubaneswar, two of Bhadrak and one each of Cuttack, Jajpur and Puri.
Congratulations to the doctors and others who treated them.”
