Bhubaneswar, Mar 26 (Local Wire): The Odisha government on Thursday said that it has reported no new COVID positive cases for the last few days while it has been putting more samples under testing everyday from the lone testing centre of Odisha.
Chief spokesperson from the state on Coronavirus Subrat Bagchi said, “As on 12 noon today, 164 samples were sent for COVID-19 examination and reports of all samples have been obtained.
No new positive case was found. Thus positive case stands at two.”
He also highlighted about the health of the two positive case patients from the state. Bagchi said both of them are stable and on their way towards recovery.
He said, “Health of 2 identified patients is asymptomatic and stable.
They are taking normal diet supplied by respective hospitals. It is reported that 55 persons had come in contact with the COVID-19 patients. All have been contacted. 100 monitoring teams are working for the purpose across the State, including 10 teams in Bhubaneswar.”
The official also said that a total of 4249 persons have been registered through 104 Helpline and portal who had a recent travel history to foreign countries.
34 persons are in Hospital Isolation on the other hand.
