Bhubaneswar, Mar 26 (Local Wire): Hours after the state government held its media briefing informing about two COVID postive cases, the health and family welfare department late Thursday night said the total cases in Odisha have notched upto three in the state.
Late on Thursday night the health department revealed about the rise in positive case of one more from Bhubaneswar.
The department said that the blood samples of the infected person came as positive during testing. The new COVID positive person is said to be a 60-year-old person from Bhubaneswar.
The state health department said, “One more sample has tested positive for COVID19 in the State.
This makes the number of positive cases 3 and all are from Bhubaneswar.”
It also added, “The latest COVID19 positive case in the State is a 60 years old male. Contact tracing exercise has commenced.”
In the last tweet of the state government it said that there was no need to panic and appealed people to comply with the lock down orders of the government.
