Bhubaneswar, Oct 29 (LocalWire) Two elder brothers of the once-conjoined twins Jaga-Balia, Ajit (11) and Datya (eight) have taken admissions in Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) on October 26.
Ajit was admitted in standard six while Datya in standard three.
Achyuta Samanta, BJD MP, Kandhamal and Founder of KIIT & KISS visited SCB Medical College, Cuttack last month and met Jaga-Balia to enquire about their health.
During his discussion with their parents, Samanta came to know that two elder brothers of Jaga-Balia are staying in village.
He had assured to facilitate the education of all four brothers in KISS. Once Jaga-Balia will be fit, they will also join KISS.
MSamanta met Ajit and Datya at KISS and discussed with them.
In his reaction, father Bhuyan Kanhar thanked Samanta for taking responsibility of providing education to his children.
The conjoined twins, after undergoing treatment for two years at AIIMS, New Delhi, were separated in complex surgeries.
