Balasore, November 6 (LocalWire): The two day regional Science Congress 2019 concluded here with the colourful cultural programme performed by the students.
The two-day event hosted by Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Balasore was attended by over 150 participants from 41 schools under the Bhubaneswar region.
This was the 27th such event in the state.
The Science Congress saw students exhibiting their models focusing on the need for the application of technology and innovation in building a clean, green and hygiene environment for the country.
The models and projects of the students were evaluated by a team of 16 teachers from different colleges and a host of scientists from Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE), a unit of DRDO at Chandipur which conducts proofing and testing of arms and arsenals.
Speaking on the concluding day of the event, chief guest and PXE deputy director KK Chand encouraged the participants and stressed on the role of students and youths in shaping the nation and protecting environment through innovative ideas.
