Bhubaneswar, April 11 (LocalWire): Railways have decided to replace the conventional coaches with modern Linke-Hofmann-Busch coaches of two trains from this month for comfortable and jerk free journey of passengers.
Both Bhubaneswar-Puduchery-Bhubaneswar Express and Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Express trains will run with a load combination of 21 coaches from next week.
It will have one AC 2 tier, four AC 3 tier, 11 sleeper class, two second class seating, two guards, luggage and seating and one pantry car, increasing the total capacity of berths.
LHB coaches are anti-telescopic, which means they do not flip in case of a collision.
They are safer, lighter, comfortable and jerk free.
Railways is replacing ICF conventional coaches from trains with LHB coaches phase wise, for the safety of passengers.
