Bhubaneswar, Sept 29 (LocalWire): In an exemplary show of dutifulness, two tribal teachers from Mayurbhanj district wade through waist-deep water every day to teach students of a government primary school.
Bhakta Murmu and Mahendra Murmu, natives of Adampani village under Bangiriposhi block cross the Budhabalang to Kusumtota village primary school almost everyday for the last 11 years.
The school, located close to the hilly terrains and dense forest of Similipal Tiger Reserve caters to tribal children.
When the weather does not permit, they stay the night in the school.
Murmu duo’s commendable display of dutifulness has grabbed the limelights after their photographs of wading through the river have gone viral in social media platforms.
