Berhampur, July 19 (LocalWire): The vigilance sleuths on Friday raided houses of three officials from the local forest division, including Berhampur divisional forest officer (DFO) AK Behera.
The sleuths also conducted raids at the residence of Dillip Kumar Martha and Paramananda Panigrahy, the forest range officers of Khallikote and Digapahandi, respectively.
The raids were conducted simultaneously at nine different places by the anti corruption agency’s vigilance cell from Cuttack, sources said.
The agency conducted raids at the DFO’s residence in Bhubaneswar, his official residence and office chamber here, his native house at Bhanjanagar, and at his in-law’s house in Ambapua.
Similarly, they searched the residence of Panigrahy in Jayashree enclave here, his office at Digapahandi, Martha’s house at Kotepetta, and his office at Khallikote.
The details of findings by the anti-corruption sleuths were not known till the filing of this report.
